For those of you looking for a relaxed dinner, this is a truly healthy, comfort food, that reminds you of home. Mashed potatoes, perfectly seasoned ground beef, and peas.
Ingredients:
Shepherd's Pie: red-skinned potatoes, coconut yogurt, avocado oil, organic onion, organic garlic, grass-fed ground beef, salt, pepper, organic potato starch, organic tomato paste, organic rosemary, organic thyme leaves, organic sage, organic peas, organic green beans
Vegan Option: tofu instead of ground beef
This goes in the freezer really well for later. - Just pop it in the freezer after it is delivered and then pull it out the day before you want to eat it and let it thaw overnight in the fridge.
To warm up shepherd's pie: place on a plate and put in the microwave for 1 minute.
To warm up shepherd's pie in the oven: preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place in an oven safe dish and cover w/aluminum foil. Heat up for 10 minutes or until hot.
