Fulfillment & Shipping Policy for The Nourish Chef

Nourish Me, under the sole proprietorship of Charity Phillips, (referred to as "The Nourish Chef" throughout this policy and throughout this website for marketing purposes), is committed to delivering fresh, high-quality catering services while observing the highest standards in food safety and handling. Please review our fulfillment and shipping policies below.

1. Order Fulfillment

Preparation and Fulfillment: All orders are prepared with fresh ingredients and crafted by our culinary team in a commercial kitchen. Orders are fulfilled based on the event date and any specific delivery instructions provided at the time of booking.
Food Safety Standards: We strictly adhere to local and national food safety and handling regulations, ensuring that all meals are prepared, packaged, and stored in a controlled commercial kitchen environment. Temperature-sensitive items are prepared and transported to maintain freshness and quality upon arrival.

2. Local Delivery Policy

For local catering events and orders, The Nourish Chef offers a delivery service within a specified range.

Delivery Area: We provide local delivery within a 25-mile radius of Denver, CO.
Delivery Timing: Orders are delivered on the event date and as close to the requested time as possible. Our team will coordinate with you to confirm an accurate delivery window.
Delivery Fee: A standard delivery fee will apply, based on distance and delivery requirements. This fee will be included in your quote.
Receiving Deliveries: To ensure food safety, someone must be present to receive the delivery and handle any necessary storage or refrigeration. We do not leave food deliveries unattended.

3. In-Person Pickup Option

For your convenience, we offer an in-person pickup option at our Denver location.

Pickup Hours: Orders can be picked up between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM on the scheduled date.
Pickup Location: the commercial kitchen located at Elk's Lodge, at 5700 Yukon, Arvada, CO 80002.
Pickup Guidelines: To ensure food remains fresh, we recommend that customers transport their orders in temperature-controlled environments and refrigerate or serve items as soon as possible.

4. Shipping Policy

At this time, The Nourish Chef does not offer nationwide shipping for perishable items due to the nature of our food products and our commitment to maintaining the highest food safety standards. All food is prepared for local delivery or pickup only to ensure it arrives fresh and ready to enjoy.

5. Food Safety and Handling Commitment

Our priority is to ensure the safety and quality of all meals we prepare and deliver. Our team adheres to strict food safety protocols, including:

Temperature Control: All temperature-sensitive items are prepared and transported in temperature-controlled environments to prevent contamination and spoilage.
Sanitation: Our kitchen facilities, equipment, and packaging materials are sanitized following industry standards.
Quality Assurance: We follow rigorous quality checks at each stage of food preparation, packaging, and delivery to ensure you receive meals that meet our high standards.

6. Additional Information

Order Changes: If you need to make adjustments to your order or delivery details, please contact us at least 72 hours in advance of your event to ensure we can accommodate your request.
